Give Zakat

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam. We handle your Zakat with meticulous care to reach those in greatest need.

Give Zakat

Zakat, also known as almsgiving, constitutes one of the five fundamental pillars of Islam, making it obligatory for Muslims, alongside prayer (salah), fasting (sawm), pilgrimage (Hajj), and belief in Allah and His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) (shahadah). For every mentally sound, adult Muslim who possesses wealth exceeding a certain threshold, known as the Nisab, the payment of 2.5% of that wealth as Zakat is mandatory.

Your Zakat, Their Hope!

Eligible Muslims are required to fulfill their Zakat obligation annually, with payment becoming due once a lunar (Islamic) year has elapsed since meeting or surpassing the Nisab. Subsequently, Zakat funds are distributed to individuals who meet the criteria for receipt.

At Azzam Aid, we handle your Zakat contributions with meticulous care to ensure that they reach those in greatest need. Through our Zakat distribution, we prioritize assisting the most vulnerable members of society, including children and those impacted by conflicts, diseases, and environmental catastrophes. Your Zakat ensures that they receive the essential assistance required to navigate through challenging circumstances and rebuild their lives.

“Those in whose wealth there is a recognised right for the needy and the poor.”
Surah Al Maarij, 24

When you give Zakat to Azzam Aid, your donation is used in the most effective way possible to relieve the suffering of the world's most vulnerable people.
